Spiders

I hate MOST spiders. I was bitten twice, I have a scar to remind me on my finger. I’m not afraid of them, I don’t have a phobia, I HATE THEM.

Except for tarantulas, the tiny dancing spider which is too tiny to hurt me anyway with a bite, and trap door spiders. They just mind their own business and wait for food to drop in, they are the smartest spiders.

I like tarantulas because they’re big. People keep them as pets. I haven’t heard of anyone dying from a tarantula bite. I guess someone could die if they’re allergic, but I’ve never read anything about it happening. I wouldn’t ever have a pet tarantula, but I also wouldn’t step on one if I saw it. I’d trap it and figure out where to put it outside my abode.

But, smaller spiders, I’ve declared war on. They bit me. That last spider dropped down onto my hand while I was minding my own business, startled me, which of course startled it, and bit me. I felt a little sick and it left a scar on my finger. No spider-powers, though. The next one could be a black widow or a bad one like that. Spiders do not belong in human houses, they belong outside.

I see a spider web outside I leave it alone. That spider is minding its own business and where it should be, out in nature.

They say killing visible spiders inside your house just leaves the smarter ones. GOOD. I want only spiders who are smart enough to not mess with me. 😆
